Make the firm’s expertise easy to find, verify, and act on.

Law firm website design, done properly, helps the right prospective client understand who handles the matter, whether the firm works in the relevant jurisdiction, and what to do next. Hyrizen builds that clarity into the website, intake path, and search architecture.

What a law firm website has to do now

A prospective client may arrive through a referral, a local search, an article, or a generated answer. Regardless of the path, the decision depends on a small set of facts: relevant practice experience, attorney credentials, jurisdiction, location, evidence of judgment, and a clear way to contact the firm.

Those facts are often scattered across biographies, practice pages, directories, and PDFs that disagree or leave relationships implicit. The result is harder for a person to evaluate and easier for a search or AI system to misinterpret.

Hyrizen treats the firm, attorneys, offices, practice areas, commentary, and intake path as one information system. The design establishes credibility. The structure makes expertise explicit. The workflow gives the right prospect a useful next step.

What’s included

  • A credible firm-wide design system

A restrained visual language for practice areas, attorneys, offices, commentary, and future growth, rather than a template repeated without hierarchy.

  • Attorney profiles that establish fit

Education, admissions, jurisdictions, experience, practice focus, and related commentary organized so prospective clients and search systems can verify who handles what.

  • Practice-area pages with a real job

Pages that explain the matter, the firm’s role, relevant jurisdiction, likely next step, and the questions a prospective client needs answered before making contact.

  • Office and jurisdiction clarity

Accurate office information and service-area language that distinguish where the firm is located, where its attorneys are admitted, and where it actually practices.

  • Search and AI foundations

A fast, readable site, consistent firm facts, structured attorney and service information, clean migration, and measurement after launch.

  • Intake and system connections

Forms, qualification, scheduling, document handoff, CRM connections, or a custom workflow when the friction continues after the prospective client submits.

  • Ownership and portability

The firm owns the code, domain, content, and data. Ongoing care is available, but the website is not held behind a proprietary license.

Search visibility follows the structure of the firm

Law firm SEO is not a layer of keywords added after design. It depends on the real structure of the practice: which attorneys handle which matters, where they are admitted, which office serves which geography, and what the firm has published that demonstrates knowledge.

Local visibility requires accurate office information and useful pages with genuine geographic relevance, not a set of near-identical city pages. Generated answers require the same discipline with an additional measurement surface: whether assistants retrieve the firm and describe its people and practices accurately.

The stakes are measured: in Hyrizen’s 50-city study, more than half of the firms ranking in Google’s top 10 never appeared in AI assistants’ answers to the same client question. The search foundation is included in the build. Ongoing content and measurement can continue under the care plan. The AI Visibility Audit is the starting point when the firm does not yet know whether the current site can be improved or should be replaced.

What we don’t do: pay-per-click, social media, or lead-generation campaigns. If a firm needs ads, we’ll say so and stay out of the way; law firm SEO vs. PPC lays out when each makes sense, with the current cost benchmarks. Our work is the site and how it’s found organically.

Evidence

The legal demonstration is not a client case study.

Blackwood Defense is a fictional demonstration built to show practice-area, attorney, office, and structured-data architecture. It proves what Hyrizen can design and engineer, not a law firm’s commercial result. Hyrizen’s separate RIA research provides stronger evidence of research discipline: 13,136 firms, published methodology, calculations, and stated limitations.

Where the engagement begins

Start with an AI Visibility Audit when the firm is unsure why it is being omitted, misdescribed, or outranked.

Start with Website Design & Architecture when the site no longer reflects the quality or structure of the practice.

Start with Custom Systems & Integrations when the real friction is intake, qualification, document collection, CRM handoff, reporting, or another workflow behind the site.

What it costs and how long it takes

Every firm is quoted from discovery, because the price follows the structure of the firm rather than a package: how many attorneys and offices, how many practice areas, how much existing content moves over, and whether intake, scheduling, or a client portal is in scope. What you get is a fixed quote for a complete, owned asset: no licensing, no platform fees, no mandatory retainer.

Timeline is six to twelve weeks: a focused practice at the short end, a multi-office firm with ten or more attorneys at the long end. The content model (every attorney, practice area, and office as an entity with declared relationships) is settled before a page is designed, which is where the time goes and why the site doesn’t need rebuilding when the firm adds a partner.

The engagement

  1. STEP 01

    Audit

Missing schema, heading errors, unparseable attorney profiles, disconnected entities, and how the assistants currently describe the firm: a specific list, with what each item costs in visibility.

  2. STEP 02

    Architecture

Attorneys, practice areas, offices, and commentary defined as entities with declared relationships; the entity register agreed before a page is designed.

  3. STEP 03

    Build

Machine-readable from first render; schema validated against what each page says; performance measured against real targets, not a plugin score.

  4. STEP 04

    Launch and measurement

DNS, redirects, Search Console, and a monthly check of rankings and AI answers, through the care plan, or documented so the firm’s staff can add an attorney without breaking the architecture.

Common questions from law firms

Next step

Start with evidence about the current site.

The audit is the lower-commitment path when the cause is unclear. If the firm already knows the website or intake system is the constraint, bring that problem directly.
